Fixing an aluminum boat
Posted by HotRod53F100 on October 9, 2003 at 18:16:56:
I just aquired a 12' aluminum boat that had been sitting for some 10 years. In the process of cleaning it up, I found some corrosion holes. The largest hole is 1/4 inch, what is the recommended method of repair or is this something that I should even mess with?? If repairable I plan to paint the bottom. What materials are satisfactory to do a good job? Thanks!
