Re: gamefisher 3HP

There are numerous posts on everything from rebuilding carbs to ignition problems about Gamefisher motors here. The first thing to do if one has set for 8 years is to check for spark. If that is ok next rebuild the carb. Instructions are on an earlier post. Then replace the fuel line from the tank to motor and any filters and primer bulb if so equipped. Use clean mid grade gas and out board oil for aircooled or water cooled motor. I think yours is air cooled. Probably a techumseh motor. mix to 16 to 1 ratio oil and gas per instructions on the gas cap or oil bottle. new plugs gapped @ 035 and points gapped @016. If after all this she won't start email me. I can explain how to adjust the carb etc, if you can't find it on the forum. I collect gamefishers and parts. Never throw a motor away. I take donations for basket cases. Good Luck and smooth sailing, Tailgunner
