Amazon Music Samples Change?

Posted by townsend on October 26, 2006 at 18:56:04:

Did anyone else notice what Amazon did about 6-8 weeks ago?

It used to be that under "Listen to Sample," you could click on one "button" and listen to 30-second excerpts of all the songs on an album. This was more convenient than having to click on each song . . .

It was a great feature for quickly previewing an album. I don't know if other online retailers offered this (but cd universe didn't, e.g.).

But this feature disappeared in the past couple of months. I wonder if they pulled it because of pressure from music companies?
