Some addicts are not so hard to work with.
You just need to treat them like children... oh, most musicians are like that anyway.
I will reserve judgement on Parish's book as althpugh its quite a page turner, it skips past whole areas without a pause for breath.
Lesh's is actually written by him (as opposed to Parish's) but seems to concentrate on certain things and definitely certain times.
I doubt any book could include as much detail as any of us might like/wamt, especially of the, say, 65-73 period when I doubt many were too reasoned in their approach nor expectant of the whole thing lasting so long.
