Third Eye Blind, "Jumper"

25 years ago, I was still living at home in San Francisco. We were listening to "Jumper," by San Francisco's Third Eye Blind.

Last night, I took my mom to Maiko Matcha, in SF's Japantown. She can't believe how fast the past 25 years have evaporated.

3EB wrote "Jumper," after a bullied gay guy committed suicide, by jumping off a bridge. Alas, 25 years later, homophobia is stronger than ever. Scenes from the video for "Jumper" do have San Francisco in the background. And yes, that really is the late Anna Nicole Smith, making a cameo.
