Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack, "You're Looking Like Love To Me"

Posted by Luminator on November 13, 2023 at 14:55:07:

Because I went to Presidio Middle School, it was a short hike to Lands End Beach. But one time, I went with my classmates Erica and Odessa, both of whom were African-American, and lived up the street from me, on Webster and Bush. Afterward, we took the 1-California bus back to the Western Addition. At Odessa's house, we heard what I thought was a nice song. It was Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack's "You're Looking Like Love To Me." I do not recall hearing that on the radio, and have always been thankful, for having classmates who shared music. It wasn't until internet radio came along, that "You're Looking Like Love To Me" got any "airplay."
