Marina District

Posted by FenderLover on April 6, 2017 at 01:24:22:

Hey Lummy! I knew a guy whose family lived on Washington St, just above the Marina District. I stayed at his house over a weekend, with my GF at the time. I think it was the summer between Freshman and Sophomore years in college. This was late 1980s.

He took us to a great restaurant on Scott St. Lobster and steak place for the locals. I forgot the name, but the food was crazy good. We stayed at his parent's vineyard near St Helena. Family is from a long line of Yale Law School grads. First time I'd seen a Lamborghini tractor! So cool!

Boz Scaggs lived across the street from his parents. That guy would riff on his guitars, all night. Pretty good Blues player.

I wonder what ever happened to that GF?
