A frequent reader of various Asylum threads but not active posting. I saw your "...people here should like Damien Jurado" and had to respond. I can't speak for the entirety of his discography but the Swift trilogy, i.e., Saint Bartlett, Maraqopa & Brothers & Sisters of the Eternal Son are, in my opinion, remarkable recordings. I happened to have listened to all three last night, back to back. Hadn't listened to them in a while. They are beautiful and moving...other worldly. Treasured recordings in my library. Thanks for mentioning DJ.
