Howdy

Pressure? When our local audio club last compared cables with a ABX test, people where exclaiming 'Just shoot me now!' Clearly they weren't in the best mood for subtle listening :) When you are listening on your own system with your own material at your own pace and are relaxed you'll often begin to notice if things are different than they used to be. E.g. 'That's strange. I don't remember that sounding like that...' Sometimes it takes a while to stumble on the music, mood or whatever that highlights a difference that matters to you. It's quite hard to design a formal test which allows for this serendipity.
