According to the VTL web site your amp has a small signal response of -3db at 75 kHz, no full scale frequency response. You have an output impedance of 1.5 ohms into a generally a capacitive load of above 15 kHz for an electrostatic. Heck, if you measured your frequency response out to 20 kHz you're probably at least 1 db down, which by definition gives you poor TIM.

BTW: Full scale frequency response is typically lower than small signal. -3b at 50 kHz?
