I don't trust that software

It's misleading - the web page implies it's free software but it's actually trialware.

mkvtoolnix will do it if I first convert to wav using dbPoweramp but I lose tags in the process so prefer not to do it that way.

And it seems a lot of effort just so that one player (the Oppo) can play them.

Maybe I'll just go back to playing LPCM over DLNA and do the conversion on the fly (creates a bit of a gap between tracks which I don't like).
