RE: Want to make sure I understand your setup.

So, you have a Mac Mini that is going to feed a USB DAC, and they both are going to be on your stereo rack, and you want to control your Mac Mini remotely and not have to put in a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Is this right?

I use the mac mini, in the stereo rack for audio and dvd playback. Therefore the TV is the monitor ONLY when playing dvd's. Mouse is left plugged into the USB and keyboard plugged in whenever needed.
Audio files are stored on the internal drive, until it's used up. Then I'll run them off my OWC external backup drive 250Gig.
I looked into the Nokia and found the battery life is short.
I opted for salling software > brand new Palm TE2. No reason to look back!
Certain cellphones will work; those that aren't crippled as in the case of Cingular.
