you are better than I am. My Mac mini is just sitting useless under the desk. I just wanted a headless audio player and it failed miserably. I was using Ammara Play and it kind of worked. But the remote on the iphone was useless and would never connect. Amarra play would crash and I would always have to grab the keyboard, mouse, and hdmi cable and reconnect it to reboot Amarra play. IIRC I tried other players and they were just as bad. Like really getting a headless experience with iphone control seemed too hard for Amarra, Audirvanna, Hq player (I think), etc. Then there was an os update and it just got useless.

No worries, its got great hardware, so lets do some daphile linux usb stuff and get going. Awesome! Apple needs a special keyboard to tell it to boot from a usb. Its under the desk now.

Windows with Hysolid is working flawlessly. There was some issue IIRC with windows 10 updating but with 11 it just works.

More power to you, Apple blows and while I have iPads and phones, no mac pcs in my future.
