I'm sorry to hear of your tumor. I also went through some stuff, but I think yours would leave me feeling more vulnerable. I imagine you must be tremendously happy to be out on the court.

I haven't heard the Border Patrol DAC, but I would guess I'd like it. I've been mostly building various DIY designs over the past years, though generally stayed away from building DACs. I while ago I finally tried building a simple but well designed TDA1543 based DAC. I loved it so much that I purchased a commercial TDA1541A based NOS DAC, which I am very happy with.
