Remote with Foobar

I would like to implement a simple way of controlling Play, Next and Stop in Foobar.
Can anyone please advise on how to do it?
I have Win Media Centre but have not enabled remote control via Media Player as I don't like or want to use this. Can I control Foobar with the Microsoft system.
The reason for wanting this function is so that I can have video silence during playback.
