Gave Pi Core one more try

Posted by jaydacus on April 12, 2017 at 16:38:26:

Everyone is so convinced that this is the best way to go that I decided to give it another try.

There were my results:

Image written to SD card. First boot took several minutes.

Went to Squeezeklite tab and selected my DAC board...reboot took forever.

Went to LMS tab and tried to install LMS. Told I had to expand file system. Expanded and then reboot took forever again.

Installed LMS.Yeah, it took forever.

Tried to mount my network file system. Added all of the settings that worked flawlessly in Volumio, Moode, and Rune and I was told that I had to install additional file system support. Fine. Tried about 5 times and this was the result all 5 times....
