My solution is similar. I use a tablet running Squeeze Ctrl to wirelessly access the music files and LMS, both of which reside on a computer in another room.
BTW, I just installed a linear power supply (from Jameco), and the first streamed audio file sounded much better than anything previously. However, it may simply have been better recorded, but there was far less congestion and muddiness.
