MSB Platinum Plus Signature Modifications

ModWright and Crane Home Theater announce the â€œMSB Platinum Plus Signature Modificationsâ€ for the MSB Platinum and Platinum Plus Link DACs and the Platinum Reference CD Player. The modified unit is noticeably better in terms of a blacker background, better resolution and presence, deeper soundstage and simply a more 'organic' sound. With the Signature Modifications vocals are perfectly centered, have more character and are three dimensional - bass has less boom and more definition so drums are just clearer. Now one can hear individual drum whacks, which used to be a blur of fast hits. The stock MSB Platinum Plus Link DAC excels on dynamics compared to all other DACs, and the Signature Modifications even top that!
The modifications include:
Cryo treatment of entire power supply and main transformer.
Black Gate capacitor upgrades in all critical power decoupling applications, including DACs and digital input circuits.
Bybee filters installed at AC mains, analog outputs and digital input (5 Bybee filters total).
The cost of the MSB Platinum PlusSignature Modifications is $1,300.
