Def Leppard, "We All Need Christmas"

I attended UC Santa Cruz in the early-90s. During Winter Break 1992, one of the albums my friends enjoyed was Def Leppard's Adrenalize.

But during the holidays, even if you lived in town, you wouldn't be on campus, to enjoy company and music.

4 years ago, during holidays 2018, we discovered that Def Leppard had come out with a greatest hits package, The Story So Far. And if you bought it on vinyl, it included a bonus track, "We All Need Christmas."

My daughter (left) learned how to skate via hockey. So when she donned the figure skates, she showed the others how to go over the boards - which you are not supposed to do in figure skating. Anyway, you obviously would not carry vinyl around. So if you wanted the PA to play Def Leppard's "We All Need Christmas," you just provided your smartphone, or had the staff look it up.

We recently went back to Santa Cruz. Mission Hill Creamery is closed for the holidays. So we brought home pints from The Penny. Some internet radio station is now playing Def Leppard's "We All Need Christmas."
