It is a part of my life I can only remember.

I don't think there is much we can do about it. Being a boy soprano has all sorts of connotations in a multicultural 'western' society.

Even in the 1960s I felt I needed to do something more than competitive fencing - to pass the bloke test!

So I started playing 140lb limit Rugby (League) for my school in 1965. Loved it just by the way, and became a known player and girls started noticing me. Even the 'queen bees'!!!
