The "wacky French'....

Posted by andy evans on June 3, 2017 at 00:18:17:

..."Okay, their taxes are high, they have a wacky government and the Napoleonic Code but they feed their kids!!!"

HaHa! Let's hear it for the wacky French. Good people - eccentric but the heart is in the right place and they do have and value culture.

My own view is that the French should have hung on to the USA. The USA would have had much better food, a much better film industry and - dare I says it - a wacky government which would be considerably less wacky than Donald Trump, and which would have a saner view of the importance of healthcare and saving the planet from destruction. As the French President said "there is no Plan B in climate change because there is no Planet B".
