In answer to your question, my answer is similar to the others you've received: it's an extremely subjective process - one of my criteria is repeated name calling. I know that when people get into it and the passions flare, it's hard to resist the name calling sometimes, but we all have to do our best. Of course, I've never outright banned anyone (and I hope I won't have to), and I've announced "vacations" in only a couple of instances.
