The new Haitink/LSO set is also worth considering...

I made a few posts about this set a few months ago (see below) and, having now heard all the performances in his cycle, I have no reason to change my opinion. I repeat that those who suspect that these performances might be dull or ordinary (as Haitink has largely become in recent years) need to put those reservations aside, for these are vital, energetic, and thoroughly intense performances (particularly nos. 5, 7, and 9).
