This forum has gone into a downward spiral of chest-beating and pointless invective, and I regret having been drawn into the morass.

It's odd, but it seems so similar to another endless circle that occurred on the General Asylum about the Intelligent Chip. That such an obvious fraud should have generated so many posts with so much bile mystifies me, and here I am, being drawn into a discussion about horn bores, which is peripherally interesting to me, and I imagine to most of the participants in this very long thread. The real subject matter of the thread seems to have much more to do with a rather strange experience of mass psychology than with BIG BORES (clever one, that.)

I suppose some people just love to bring cans of gasoline to fires. I'll confess to the urge, but I usually don't come armed with anything larger than a squirt gun. Still, it's really a shame that this place has turned into just another internet dumping ground. It used to be so much more.

Why look at what's happened to you. Here you are pointing out peoples' spelling mistakes on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I've got to get out of the house.

Bye.
