Grants 1.6 standfs are an excellent addition. I might go so far as to say, NECESSARY! I agree that bass impact and detail have improved, but I alsdo feel that getting rid of the "waving in the wind" situation helps the detail, location and air in mids and highs -- a lot! My Mye stands, once leveled, hold the 1.6s in a vioce grip with NO wiggle or waggle (NOTE: I have a 20# bag of shot on the rear cross brace).
Grant is great. Loomis shipped my stuff all over Canada, before nuking my box and losing half the parts. Grant was on it like a duck on a Junebug, and I had more than enough replacements a few days later. Nice workl, Grant! A fine fellow to do biz with.
I assembled the stands to the panels myself (and I'm old!). All told took me 40 minutes, but I'm cautious.
If you have 1.6s, you will love 'em. $300 US, $360 at my door -- a great "tweak."
