RE: Quads, Should I Bother?

It will be at least 8 years before I'll be able to have my dedicated room, if I make it that far. I used to have 2, then 17.5 years ago daughter #1 arrived. After that I moved to another room, but 17 months later, daughter #2 arrived, and I've been adrift ever since.

We had developed plans (literal architect prepared plans) to add on to the house (which did include a purposefully designed room), but unfortunately they didn't survive the bidding phase, as $600,000+ was a little much for our budget.

But as I get old(er) and my girls go off to college, I'm determined to have some comforts, including a nice, if not ideal, listening spot. And though it sounds like I'd love '57's, I think for someone with no ESL experience, a new model would be best. They are smack in the middle of my budget, and I hope I can find a local dealer for help with installation and service. So, with Kent's advice, they are on the list now at the top.
