Free Audiophile Fuses

Has anyone pulled their fuses out of the holder, put them back ... and heard a difference in soundstage and tonality?
For over a month I've been having an issue with soundstage and clarity on my right channel. I've suspected my aging ears. Tried some EQ. Still subjectively weird, though all measurements seemed okay.
Yesterday I pulled the both fuses on each of my 3.7s and put them back. The first thing I noticed was the LEFT channel ... on a familiar piece of music with the guitar on the left, it moved about 3ft to the left. And the drums moved similarly to the right, and cymbals had greater clarity.
This makes sense ... oxidized contacts in the signal path. But it seemed VERY dramatic.
