Very Happy New 1.6 Owner!

Posted by Joe Mags on February 13, 2010 at 19:56:49:

I've been looking to upgrade my MC1s for a while now. Well today I picked up a brand new pair of 1.6s. These are are among the very last pairs made by Magnepan before they started building the new 1.7s. They are black with the dark cherry and they are gorgeous. I got them assembled and hooked up about two hours ago and all I can say is WOW! I wanted to thank everyone here for answering my questions lately. Originally I was looking for a used pair and asked for advice on serial numbers and changing socks etc... Well while looking for a nice used or demo pair I lucked into these. They were being held by a dealer for someone else who had backed out and I just happened to call at the right time. A day later and they would have been gone. They were a bit more than I wanted to spend but I couldn't pass them up. Thanks again everyone.
