Yes but not as well as something with more power. Ive owned both the 2275 and the 2270, both excellent receivers and very under-rated wattage wise. But after going to high powered amps, I can say that more power is better. Even if your average listening level is fairly low, the dynamics are compromised without some big watts in reserve. Everyone says theres no such thing as too much power and I tend to agree. Even at their 90db rating, they really perform once turned up and given ample power.

And also, with the age of the 2275, the caps are going to start to crap out and the SMGs may hasten the process (unless they have been replaced already).
