Getting the most out of a three panel system is a complex process. Once I got the tweeter/mid-range panels positioned I was blown away with the difference Mye stands make to the listening experience...and it is not subtle. The stands really do make a big difference in the bass, mid-range and imaging. It is not that they change the sound of the speakers, but that all the musical energy that the speakers put out is now going into the room. To coin a phrase, there just is more there, there.

Here's the bottom line: If you own Magnepan speakers, you are not hearing what your speakers are capable of without these stands. Bravo, Grant, Bravo!
