The active monitors in front of have some nice qualities: neutral tonal response that reminds me of the Gale 401s from the 70s and consistent directivity by frequency (where many pro horn speakers fail miserably). Loud, but not too much clipping.

During the traditional playing of Bizet Carmen after the F1 Academy race, however, perspective was opaque and flat as a board with zero "breath of life" transparency like the real thing. Great , however, for the Euro dance music played in the background with plenty of punch!
