Two cases

First one - my wife worked about 1 hour from home, and during her lunch break she lost air in the tire of her M3.
The solution: I leave my office, go home, load a spare tire and a jack into my car, drive for one hour, change the tire there, and go home. She later arrives home safely.
Case #2: I had a hole not far from my office, about 20 minutes from home - same car.
The solution: I call a friend who drives to my home, picks up the spare tire and a jack and brings them to me.
Little wonder that one enterprising guy starts selling kits for that and some other cars, consisting of a compact spare, a wrench and a jack in a bag, all for $500. He still does.
Problem is - that kit nearly takes the whole trunk.
