GM's GenIV LS engines with Active Fuel Management...avoid at all costs.

They die.
If/when an owner needs to replace the engine, if he/she buys a reman from Jegs, he/she gets the choice to have AFM deleted.
The newer LT engines with Dynamic Fuel Management might be even worse.
