Moringa oleifera is the most widely cultivated species of the genus Moringa, which is the only genus in the family Moringaceae. English common names include moringa, drumstick tree or Horseradish tree.

This herb is considered a super food by Herbalists. The seeds can be transformed into an oil that can be used as a skin treatment and the leaves that can be eaten as a vegetable.

The leaves if consume as a vegetable has a tangy taste to it that will compliment any soup dishes especially if they're garnished with Tamarind. It may provide a versatile, nutritious iron rich food source to combat iron deficiency.
