I've never tried it, but the accompanying video makes it look fairly simple.

They make it in a five gallon too, and I wish I'd seen that before I bought mine a few years ago.

I found a station near me that sold 93 octane ethanol free gas. My car and both bikes call for premium, and I try and avoid ethanol, so I was keeping an extra 5 gallons around to top off the bikes, but they've since stopped selling the premium pure gas.

I bought some piece of crap which required an 1/8th turn at the spigot, then you had to push the nozzle down on the edge of whatever you were filling, and keep the pressure on to allow the gas to flow. Meanwhile, trying to balance a five gallon can while keeping the nozzle in the tank, and not dripping gas on my freshly waxed tanks. Thanks EPA!

I found a replacement nozzle for my tank at Tractor Supply, but the can is un-vented, so it's better, but sill a pain in the ass.

If the one I linked to works as easily as it shows in the video, hopefully it will suit your needs, and you have a Tractor Supply in your area.
