RE: Doping surrounds
Posted by Uncle Mike on May 3, 2017 at 02:51:07:
Some time ago this question came up regarding KLH pleated surrounds. It seems over time they become permeable so that they loose the air seal. Not ideal in acoustic suspension designs. One poster,I believe Roy, came up with a fix by using diluted Loctite Hi-tac to coat the surrounds. You can do a search or ask the question on that forum.
