And them flip them on ebay if you don't like them. Cornwalls have been selling for $800/pair and up recently.

I've had my pair of ancient (1964) Cornwalls in and out of my main system (mostly in) for more than 20 years. I'll admit that I have not listened carefully to the newer high effeciecy speakers, but others that have been in my system inclue Quad ESL57s, Kef 104, Klipsch La Scala, Tannoy Monitor Gold 12" in factory corner cabinets--these all were in my system for more than a few days or weeks and I always went back to the Cornwalls. No speaker has ever sounded more alive to me.
