NEED PRE AMP HELP TO RUN b&w SOUROUND SYSTEM

looking for a pre-amp and amp to run a pair of b&w 804's, connecting a playstation dvd player cd player and cable tv through vcr. Please help I am looking to save money but don't want to screw up the sound of the speakers, right now i am not going to use a sub latter on I will add one. Looking at Myryad and Rotel and Myrantiz. Does anybody have any input.. thanks todd
