Also keep in mind that if you are getting your internet from a cable company or fiber optic company, your bandwidth is going to be shared by every house around you that is using that same service\speed, so you may notice better or worse speeds depending on home many people are home and using their services for whatever. Going with a higher speed service that costs more money will probably mean that fewer people around you have that service and will make your personal bandwidth that much better. Or maybe consider fiber optics over cable for the same reason, if most people in your neighborhood are not using fiber.
