Extending a Digital antenna
Posted by rlindsa on December 29, 2015 at 11:57:26:
I got one of those thin antennae for receiving over the air digital TV broadcasts. $40 and it works like a charm. It connects to the TV via a supplied 75 ohm RG6 coax cable.
I'd like to move the antenna to the opposite wall from the TV. To do that I either need a much longer coax run (I don't want to crawl up in the attic, so it would have to run under a rug or up and around doors). But is there an option to convert the signal from the antenna to wireless, transmit it across the room to a wireless receiver and then convert it back to coax for connecting to the TV?
