Cable...the threaded "F" connector?. That's mainly used for RF signals,
not video. If you want HD from a Dish/cable box (720P and up) you need to use the HDMI input. You can get great HD using local broadcast signals
via an antenna using the RF connector. Especially if using a good outside
antenna on the roof.
