Adding DVD to a High-End 2-Channel system

I am looking for advice on adding a DVD player to my 2-Channel stereo system. I would be running it through Hales Rev 3 speakers, Classe CA-300 Amp, BAT VK-3i pre. My TV is a new JVC 35 inch.
Are there any DVD players that offer sound effects for two channel systems?
