Help with Lexicon decision

Posted by Lee on July 13, 2000 at 15:56:31:

I need some help. I just got rid of my krell hts in favor of a better stereo preamp. Now, I need to get a hold of a lex processor. I've owned rotel, classe, and krell processors and quite honestly there is not THAT much difference in the dolby digital processors.

That said, I have heard time and time again that the Lex are the best processors (I really could care less, so long as I have the ability) and that currently there are some wonderful deals on older lex models. This is where I need help: can you let me know what older models are good deals (I seem to remember they have a dc-1, and mc-1 etc.) I would also appreciater it if anyone could give me heads up as to what I should expect to pay for a second hand lex whatever. thanks in advance
