we've been planning on sending the Beta in to "Absolute Beta" in Virginia for either repair or a discount on a playing unit. Then to transfer to DVD. Let you know how it goes.
By the by, why DVD+R and not DVD? I keep seeing "format wars" of sorts regarding dual-layer and as a Beta owner, are wary.
Also, what's a good program for doing the Beta-DVD transfer?
