i think the parts are a little better in the 222ES

... the better bass may correspond to the improved power supply on the 222ES and better caps. i'm not sure if the 775 uses all the same Elna and Nichicon caps as the 222ES but they are an excellent grade, in fact the same types i would use when modifying equipment. the fact that the 222 came with them already is a nice bonus. :)
