It depends on what you think sounds best to you.

I don't like to process the original recording so I choose not to use anything that would color the original recording.

The possibilities are endless however, it is up to you in terms of what you think sounds good.

Your player is excellent. If I had what you have I would be a purist and choose not to use DSP or any other type of processing.
