Anyone else curious about the Dutton/Vocalion SACDs?

Posted by Doktor Brahms on January 27, 2017 at 11:59:26:

Apparently Dutton has licensed some quad material originally issued on RCA and Columbia. These are being issued as hybrid SACDs. Titles include E. Power Biggs playing Rheinberger, Rubinstein/Ormandy, concert pieces by Rozsa, and a handful of others. This could be a one-shot deal, or it could be the beginning of an intriguing new reissue series to set alongside the Pentatone discs. I plan to order a few of these. Anyone else care to opine?
