Marantz SA-7S1 drawer issue

Posted by jkm on January 2, 2017 at 10:25:19:

This is an intermittent problem. Sometimes when I press the eject button, on the player or on the remote, the drawer opens but immediately closes. Press either button a second time and the drawer always stays open. I had a look inside to see if there was an obvious place to clean but decided it would be better to take the player in for service. Before I do that I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem on this player or another one, and what was the solution?

Thanks.
