RE: Disagree

The Sony SCD-XA5400ES is an obsolete player and Sony should put it in a museum. Accuphase has a museum for their old stuff. Sony has abandoned high-end SACD long time ago. I own a Sony SCD-XA9000ES SACD player, bought in 2004, which has better build quality and reliability than the SCD-XA5400ES.

Sony created a wonderful format, brought it up to speed, then pulled the legs out from under it. Many of us who invested in SACDs and SACD playback are frustrated at Sony's lack of support for those of us who love the format. If Sony were still supporting SACD, there would be new releases on their website. Take a peek, it has not been updated for many years.
