"I am one of the very few who would like to see a DEDICATED SACD ONLY machine....NO Redbook playback capability. I believe a machine optimized in that manner would give the most cost effective SOTA SACD performance. A seperate Redbook machine or transport/DAC would then give the optimal CD performance."

NO multi-channel, NO Redbook capability, NO video circuitry and tubes and all for under a grand! Do you hear me high end manufacturers this is what I want?

For me no need for seperate Redbook as I have Vinyl and Reel to Reel, I feel no need for PCM.
